ADULT CLASSES
The Doylestown Rock Gym offers a variety of classes from skills for beginner adult rock climber through advanced climbing techniques. If you can’t commit to a multi-day class then check out our Belay Lessons or Monthly Climbing Clinics.
YOUTH CLASSES
Doylestown Rock Gym offers youth classes for rock climbers aged 2.5 years and up. If you have prior rock climbing experience or have participated in one of our other programs, then you may also be interested in our Youth Climbing Club, Advanced Climbing Club, or DRG Climbing Team programs.
MONTHLY CLIMBING CLINICS
The Doylestown Rock Gym offers monthly climbing clinics on a variety of topics. Topics include climbing technique, training tips, proper use of climbing equipment, climbing safety, and more. These monthly clinics are FREE with your DRG membership or $5 with a day pass or punch pass.
Clinics tagged “Gym to Crag” are designed to help climbers transition to the world of outdoor climbing and to introduce advanced skills. While substantive, these clinics may not be comprehensive to ensure a safe transition to outdoor climbing. Further instruction and practice may be necessary. Foundational skills are recommended but not required. We welcome any interested climbers to come to watch, listen, practice, and expand their knowledge base.

What kind of climbing classes do you offer?
We offer a wide range of classes for all ages and ability levels. Beginner climbers will focus on building a solid foundation of skills and technique. Experienced climbers will be able take those to the next level. We also offer private instruction if you don't want a group envirnoment.
What is the difference between classes and clinics?
Climbing classes are multi-day courses that focus on skill or climbing technique progression. Climbing clinics are a one-time course focusing on a single topic area designed to to boost your knowledge.
Do I have to pre-register for a class?
Yes, some classes fill up so we require pre-registration. Monthly clinics may offer a drop-in offer.
What do I need to bring to class?
WE provide all the climbing gear you need. you are welcome to bring your own but we will need to check it prior to use. Otherwise, just wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move around in and a refillable water bottle.
