Yes.  A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to reserve your party spot.

Our facility does not offer any food service except for a drink machine and snack bars. Birthday Parties are welcome to bring in any food they would like to provide. Check out our Party Partners, who offer special deals for your birthday party.

We will set up and clean up the party room. You are responsible for the rest of the party portion and food service.

If your final head count is still within the range of the party you booked, there is no need to contact us.  However, if you have more or fewer climbers than expected, then we require any adjustments to be made five (5) days prior to the party. For example, if you book a party for “Up to 15 Climbers” and your headcount is 13, nothing needs to happen.  However, if you have MORE than 15, this would impact the number of staff and the price.  Similarly, if you need to drop down to a lower bracket, we require five (5) days notice.

Due to issues of liability and varied belay systems, only Doylestown Rock Gym staff are permitted to belay for parties.

We do now! All areas of the gym are air-conditioned. However, it won’t ever feel like a refrigerator in here, and it is always hotter toward the top of the higher walls.

We suggest comfortable clothes that allow you to move around easily (i.e., athletic attire or pants with some stretch to them) and athletic shoes. We suggest shorts of knee length if you are wearing a harness.

Any person who wants to climb, belay or take a class must sign a participant Agreement. If the participant is under 18 then their parent or court-appointed legal guardian must sign the waiver on their behalf.

A parent or court-appointed legal guardian. The following parties are not allowed to sign for a minor: host families for exchange students, aunts/uncles, grandfathers/grandmothers, neighbors, babysitters, etc. You may NOT sign for a child that is not legally yours.

We offer party packages beginning at three (3) years old. Each party option is designed to be age-appropriate.

First, there is an age restriction. The Ultimate Climbing Party is only appropriate for climbers 9 years and older.  Second, the difference is in the structure and amount of climbing in each party.  The Classic Climbing Party is a more social structure where climbers will begin with some low climbing and an organized game.  After that, roped climbing stations are open for the climbers to move about freely. The Ultimate Climbing Party is a more structured program where the climbers will move from activity to activity as a group. There is some low climbing and a few roped climbs, but the challenge course is the main event of this party.

Yes. All party participants must be 9 years or older. Kids younger than this do not yet have the skills needed to fully participate in the party. Younger siblings or guests are welcome to watch, or they can purchase their own climbing package in the main gym area.
