Our   outdoor climbing program are designed to meet a range of experience levels. We offer a variety of options from recreational trips to advanced skill development. Whether you are new to climbing or a seasoned veteran, there is a class designed with you in mind.

All outdoor programs include:

  • All necessary climbing equipment.
  • Discount coupon(s) for each participant at the conclusion of the program.

  • Reservations are required for each class/program.
  • All classes/programs must be pre-paid prior to the start of class.
  • A minimum of 72-hour notice is needed for a complete refund.  Less notice will be given a credit.  No shows forfeit the cost of the class.
  • Missed sessions may be rescheduled or given a free pass at the discretion of the instructor.  Prorates will not be given.

introduction to outdoor rock climbing

Join us outside for a fun day on the rocks! This is a great course for those wishing to transition from indoor to outdoor climbing. Content will cover basic safety instruction, climbing technique, route finding and outdoor ethics. Prior experience is not required but participation in an indoor class prior to the trip is recommended. All ages and ability levels welcome. Ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

BASIC top rope systems

This skills intensive course allows you to take outdoor climbing to the next level. This course provides the necessary knowledge and skills to set up a top-rope system using fixed anchors. Content will include equipment review, knot tying, safety and site management.

PRE-REQUISITE: Intro. to Outdoor Rock Climbing or Instructor Permission

advanced top rope systems & rappel set-up

Increase your knowledge and confidence! Advanced top rope systems will cover artificial anchors and gear placement. It will also teach you  safe, efficient rappel set-ups. This course offers a solid foundation for those wishing to engage in traditional lead climbing.

PRE-REQUISITE: Intro. to Top Rope Systems or Instructor Permission

ADVENTURE RACE Training

This package is designed specifically for racers who need rope work experience to safely and successfully compete. Skills will include equipment introduction, rappelling, ascending, proper back-up techniques and much more. The course consists of one 3-hour indoor session and one 6-hour outdoor session. All equipment is included as well as special gear discounts for purchases. Dates and times are flexible.
